Due to the measures multiple cities and states are enforcing to control the spread of the Coronavirus, many businesses are looking for options to work remotely (from home). In this notice, we will explain:
Starting today, Monday, March 16, 2020, TCSP will stop all on-site visits with a few exceptions:
Remote technical support for all clients will continue without interruptions.
First, please understand every business is unique; different clientele, applications, IT infrastructure, etc. The following information is mostly for small businesses that:
TCSP will provide 10 free VPN licenses for a maximum of 50 businesses in the CT area. These licenses will be free until April 30th, 2020. After this date, the licenses will automatically cancel. These licenses can be used to install the VPN application in your office computer and home computer. Once you install the application in both computers, you will use Remote Desktop Connection to gain access to your office computer from home.
TCSP will provide written instructions on how to access your licenses, how to install the application in both computers (home and office), and how to use Remote Desktop Connection.
TCSP will offer free basic technical support via email only for issues about this configuration. We will attempt to answer all questions/issues in a timely fashion. However, our regular support clients will take priority over this project. Please understand that free phone technical support will not be provided.
Our application and configuration are provided with our best intentions in mind. By requesting these licenses, you agree that TCSP is not to be held liable for any misuse of the software or access gained. TCSP is an IT firm trusted by thousands of clients worldwide, including CPAs, Medical Practice, and Insurance Brokers. TCSP always holds the client’s privacy and security as a top priority. Even though TCSP will not gain access to your network, clients are welcome to include a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with their request for TCSP to sign.
TCSP is conscious that many small businesses will be affected financially during this crisis. Therefore, our President, Jorge Raigoza, has decided to extend a hand to those in need in the best way we can, by providing IT knowledge and tools with no commitments. Our benefit? Create awareness with other business owners, so they can follow our example. Support your community, help those in need!
